Her work for The Ivey has been designed to encourage interaction and joy, with comfort, safety, and attention to detail. As part of her ongoing role with The Ivey, Lauren coordinates all grounds-keeping and interior plantscapes, maintaining them for longevity. In addition, she ensures that all furniture and fixtures are maintained in the highest quality and that seasonal and thematic attention to décor is maintained at the highest level of quality. While handling all interior and artistic coordination, she also serves as the liaison to community arts programs, finding ways to promote The Ivey as a community arts supporter. Lauren has a special connection and compassion for The Ivey’s work because it is her Aunt Nancy Ivey, the mother of Lynn Ivey, who was the inspiration for the center.
