Betsy Horowitz
Betsy received her dual Bachelor of Art degrees in International Studies and Spanish from Virginia Tech in 2010. Prior to joining The Ivey family in the Fall of 2020, Betsy worked as an event manager organizing all activities and events onboard cruise ships. Her experience at The Ivey in life enrichment and social media activities gives great rise as Program Manager, using her skills to manage the Respite Club program with detailed attention to program strategy and execution.
Where were you born and where did you grow up? I was born in Thousand Oaks, CA and grew up here in Charlotte, NC.
Favorite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon? I enjoy hanging out with family and friends. However, if I get the chance to take a weekend trip somewhere, I will go in a heartbeat!
What excites you about your work at The Ivey and the contribution you make here? I love having the opportunity to connect with our members, their families, and The Ivey staff. Making a difference through swapping stories, learning new things, and making people laugh keeps me excited about coming in to work every day.
