Natalie Tunney, CDP
Natalie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Keene State College in New Hampshire and earned her Graduate Certificate in Gerontology from Appalachian State University. She started her career as a fundraiser before being drawn to work in the elder care field. Natalie has worked at Centralina Area Agency on Aging, held managerial positions in senior living communities and has served as an educator, resource guide and solution finder for caregivers, older adults, and their families.
Where were you born and where did you grow up? I was born in Brooklyn NY and raised in suburban Connecticut.
Favorite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon? I love spending time with friends and family. You might find me at the gym, in a restaurant, enjoying the great outdoors, at a craft festival, or exploring this beautiful state.
What excites you about your work at The Ivey and the contribution you make here? I am appreciative of the opportunity to meet and get to know our workshop attendees, families, caregivers, and members. It is an honor to assist and support people in navigating their life’s journey. My goal is to bring a warm smile, joy, trust, dignity, and respect to everyone that I encounter at The Ivey.
