Sherri Johnston, MA
Sherri earned a Bachelor of Arts in English at the University of Illinois and a Master of Arts in Counseling Education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her entire career has been in the healthcare industry.
Where were you born and where did you grow up? I was born in Chicago and raised in the Chicagoland suburbs.
Favorite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon? Weekends are spent on the patio with my husband David and rescue dog Birdie.
What excites you about your work at The Ivey and the contribution you make here? From the moment I stepped into The Ivey I could feel the warmth and welcoming spirit. It is truly a home away from home for members, families, caregivers, volunteers, and staff. I’m so grateful to be part of a community that provides hope, education, support, and resources to the Charlotte area.
