Akire Rogers
Akire is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in International Studies. Her background includes working in preschool special education, and she continues to share her passion for dance as a weekend dance instructor.
Where were you born and where did you grow up? I was born and raised in Charlotte.
Favorite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon? A lifelong dancer, I have been dancing since the age of two. I also enjoy learning languages and am currently studying Korean, having previously studied Spanish, Latin, and Mandarin.
What excites you about your work at The Ivey and the contribution you make here? I am excited to continue learning and growing as part of The Ivey team. I look forward to building meaningful connections with members and providing exceptional service to the individuals, families, and community The Ivey serves.
