Launching in early 2026, Parkinson’s Power at The Ivey is a NEW comprehensive program designed to uniquely support individuals living with Parkinson’s disease—and the caregivers who support them.
Building on more than 18 years of service to the Charlotte community, The Ivey integrates movement-based wellness, cognitive engagement, education, and social connection to help individuals maintain independence, confidence, and quality of life at every stage.
While Parkinson’s is progressive, there is much we can do to support resilience and brain-body adaptation.
Participants in Parkinson’s Power will have opportunities at The Ivey to:
- Improve mobility, balance, and functional movement
- Strengthen cognitive engagement and emotional well-being
- Build meaningful peer connections and social support
- Access education and resources for individuals and caregivers
- Participate in a welcoming place and purpose-driven community
At The Ivey, no one navigates Parkinson’s alone.

ANNOUNCING:
The Ivey is proud to partner with the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas for their Second Annual Care Partner Summit by offering A Day at The Ivey for the loved ones of those attending the summit.
The Parkinson Association of the Carolinas created this free, in-person event specifically for individuals who care for a loved one living with Parkinson’s. The summit, held on Saturday, March 21, provides practical strategies and meaningful support to help care partners prioritize their own well-being while continuing to provide the best possible care for their loved one.
While you attend the summit, your loved one can enjoy a welcoming and engaging day at The Ivey. Guests will experience social connection, stimulating activities, and lunch—all in a supportive and safe environment. Care will be provided from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, so you can fully participate in the Care Partner Summit with peace of mind.
