Tiffany Wilkerson

Tiffany brings more than two decades of nonprofit leadership experience to The Ivey, with a career dedicated to creating opportunities for people of all abilities to live more active, connected, and fulfilling lives. After building her career with nonprofit organizations across Arizona, she moved to Charlotte in 2026 and joined The Ivey.

Throughout her career, Tiffany has held leadership roles spanning adaptive sports, community health, education, recreation, grant writing, fundraising, and special events. Most recently, she served as Executive Director of Arizona Disabled Sports, a statewide nonprofit providing adaptive sports and recreational opportunities for individuals with disabilities. She also served as Campaign Development Manager for Blood Cancer United, where she led the peer-to-peer fundraising campaign Student Visionaries of the Year. Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions with the Arizona Alliance for Community Health Centers and Future for KIDS, overseeing grants and contracts, programs, volunteers, and community initiatives.

Tiffany’s personal and professional commitment to adaptive recreation began during her college years. She attended the University of Illinois on an athletic scholarship and earned a Bachelor of Science in Community Health, specializing in Rehabilitation Services and Health Education. As a student-athlete, she played on the Women’s Wheelchair Basketball team—an experience that shaped her belief in the power of movement, inclusion, connection, and community.

Throughout her career, Tiffany has developed extensive expertise in nonprofit program development, fundraising, grant management, community engagement, and event planning. She is passionate about fitness, healthy aging, and prevention. Outside of work, she enjoys strength training, hiking, paddleboarding, and spending time in nature. Health and wellness are central to her life, and she strives to lead by example.

Tiffany is excited to bring her experience and passion for purposeful programming to The Ivey and to support its mission of enhancing the quality of life for individuals living with neurological conditions and the people who care for them.

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”

Where were you born and where did you grow up? I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, moving to Charlotte April, 2026.

Favorite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon? My favorite way to spend the weekend is with my boyfriend Adam.  Faves are going to farmers' markets, hiking, paddle boarding, relaxing on the couch with one another laughing and watching movies.

What excites you about your work at The Ivey and the contribution you make here? What excites me about working at The Ivey and the contribution I am making here is witnessing the smiles on our members’ faces, watching them progress day after day, and seeing the support we provide to the families and caregivers. I feel honored to be able to work here with my colleagues and the amazing families we get to support, making all the hard work worth it.
